March 30, 2006 -This rain has to stop, it's taking a toll on riding after being able to ride without weather problems the past few months it really sucks that it's almost April and it's starting to create problems. My track time was cancelled last night so I was stuck in my house riding rollers. This weekend don't look to good for Santa Barbara's weather forecast as NBL is having their state race there, but I am stuck working so I won't be there or Phoenix. Has anyone received any award jackets from NBL? I think they are skipping out! -CW
March 28, 2006 -After doing gate practice in 30 mph winds and rain with a swollen heel and foot and dragging around all day yesterday from getting home at midnight after racing all day Sunday I did write the Silver State Race Review from this weekend. I got a weekend off cause I am skipping Phoenix and the NBL State Race so that I can recover and train all the way through until Roseville in a few weeks. I will be working most of the week and according to the weather reports riding in the rain again -CW
March 23, 2006 -This week is blowing by and it's almost time to race again. I rode at orange show last night but I am leaving tomorrow morning for Las Vegas. I did get the Great Northwest National Race Review from last weekend in Pasco put up. It's pretty lame considering I have spent the first couple days of the week making my laptop work since the thing took a poop on me last weekend at a coffee shop in Washington. I might update during this weekends festivities so stay tuned. -CW
March 21, 2006 -I am back from Washington today and I can at least say the trip was cool but can you but I ended up having a ton of hassles during the weekend that were not cool at al. First off my laptop took a bust during the weekend and I just recovered it this morning so I will write a race review when I get a chanc. Other than that I did pull of a 5th on Saturday. I will update more when I get sometime. I have a bunch of work this week and I leave on Friday for the NBL National in Las Vegas -CW
March 17, 2006 -Seattle isn't so special in my opinion. We spent the day getting lost in the downtown area trying to be tourist. Sam sent us on a crazy chase for a magic/joke shop and we found it but the only thing that was a joke was the store! For the most part every street is ass backwards and it's to confusing for me. I am not sure how 4 lefts don't put you back where you were but it don't! Today we are driving to Pasco and it's going to take a few hours so it's time to go drink some more coffee in Seattle! -CW
March 16, 2006 -I flying to Seattle today and then Nate and I are going to be tourist for the day and then driving to Pasco for the ABA Great Northwest Nationals this weekend. I will try and update when i get a chance but I always get sidetrack and the ABA Festivities so don't count on it. I did bring my camera this time so I will try for some action shots. -CW
March 13, 2006 -I have to work the next couple days and then I fly out to Seattle for the ABA National in Pasco, WA. I did end up racing the 909 series in the rain yesterday at Orange Show. Overall the track was a little tacky but not wet. They did a bunch of work to get it ready for the race. I got my bike dirty again thanks to the rain so I will be using some more Pedros Bike Lust on it before I pack up. I have been getting some use out of my EVS Rain Jacket the last week and I would rather not. I will ramble on another day it's time to go! -CW
March 12, 2006 -Yesterday didn't turn out the best for weather. First the racing for the day on the ABA side was cancelled. Then the NBL Track got it going on decided to race but it started to snow while the racing was going on. So in 20 years that was my first time actually racing motos while it was snowing. So last week I rode 1 day in the rain and 1 in the snow. It's Sunday morning and the sun is shining but nobody knows until 11 this morning if there will be the 909 Series today. If so I am there, otherwise the whole weekend was a wash! -CW
March 11, 2006 -The whole deal is off! The Redline Cup is cancelled for today and it don't look good for night 1 of the 909 series either. The Redline Cup was supposed to go down this morning at Orange Show but rain and hail put an end to that. This just leaves me flat for the weekend and I fly out Wednesday for Seattle! Yesterday I was @ a school in Lucerne Valley to promote the BMX Scene. I also hit up the bank to make some deposits. I am not really sure what to do today now that racing is at a halt for winter conditions. -CW
March 8, 2006 -I am back at work for a couple of days but I did try to ride last night in this crappy weather we are having here. I got to Cutting Edge to do some racing last night but it started raining and everyone split, I figured since I was there I might as well ride so I threw on my EVS Rain Gear and hit the track and had some fun riding in the rain. Nobody stuck around I was the only one riding and I finally ditched the idea when my Sun Ringle 4 Stroke Hub was hitting the water in the middle of the jumps. -CW
March 4, 2006 -I really am not believing the crappy weather we have been getting in So Cal this week. It's been a bunch of rain and I have not been able to do much of anything other than work. The weather today is supposed to be better so I just hope the local tracks are dry enough so I can get my train on for the day since there are not to many days left until the next round of festivities. Don't forget I did write those 2 race reviews from the nationals last month and they are now in the Races Section. -CW
