Special Board Meeting
A special board meeting is scheduled for March 6, 2009 a 7pm in the
Township building.
Major Upgrades to The Ridings Plant
Early 2008 a new filter was
installed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant at the intersection of Ridge
Road and Ridings Blvd. to improve the quality of the plant’s
effluent.
During 2009 we plan another
upgrade to comply with an order from the Pennsylvania
Department of Environmental Protection. The upgrade consist of
- An equalization tank to cope with peak flow into
the treatment plant and
- A mechanical screen to prevent large debris like
rags from entering the plant.
We apologize to our neighbors
for the increased traffic to the plant.
Pump Station on Woodland Drive
In spring 2009 we plan to build
a fence around the Woodland pump station.
