I added a new tutorial that walks you through creating a trance music track using Sony Music Studio 7 and available free music loops and midi files.

I added one of my new trance style music tracks at Sound Cloud.  It can be accessed from my website menu at the left under the Ph D(J) Music link, scroll down to the bottom and click on the link.  The Sound Cloud website with the track will open up in a new window.  Just click the play button on the left of the track to hear it.

 

It is an old school trance style track.  I used free midi samples from Dance Midi website.  AlphaFree vsti was used for the instrument with the detuned preset.  I layered the kick drums and added trance style FX.  The track was sequenced in Sony's Music Studio 7.  Reverb and delay effects were added.  No additional mastering was done to the track.  The track is just a basic beat, some pitch up, and effects, but it is bright and moving, hence the name "Bright Future".  Hope you like it.
