Wales Tour - SUCCESS!

We are back from our Wales Tour and WAS IT GREAT! Castles, Mountains, Rugby Pitches, Pro Match to watch from the stands and best of all, two INCREDIBLE matches played!

We lost the first fixture 34 to 10 - but the locals had the line at 90 to nil!!! Not bad at all. We lost to the best U17 team in Wales (1 loss in 3 years).

The second game we dominated from the 25 minute mark onward - I have not seen this level of physical play from a DRFC squad since 2001 season (Coach Cain's Senior Year). If not for some kinks in the first half, the Dingoes would have won on the scoreboard as well. As it stands, we "won 22 - all", as Doug Syme put it.

After both games, the coaches, fans and players all mentioned how great we were on and off the pitch!

Congrats boys!!!!!!

First (Annual) D.R.F.C. B&B

On Feb 27th we held our first Beef and Beer, or "Gathering," at the Lionville Fire Hall.

According to the 170+ parents and high school players in attendance, the event was a huge success. We look forward to maxing out the room capacity at our Second Annual Gathering in 2010.

"DRFC SE7ENS" made it to the quarterfinals in their first appearance in years on a sevens pitch. Alumni and current U19 players made up two teams - Open age and U19.
