This is the first book in the Prophecy of the Black Cat series.
Here's a quick summary:
Moonfur is a cat in GlacierClan, one of the four clans
in the forest. Her normal life is turned upside down when she is made an apprentice. Cats with special powers that have never
been seen in the forest threaten, and not just her own clan. As time progresses, even nature seems to have turned against
them, attacking them with drought, crazy storms, and floods. A forbidden love is formed between Moonfur and a cat from another
clan, having its own consequences. Will life return to normal or will the clans be wiped out when it seems as if all odds
are against them?
Erin Hunter's Warriors books inspired me to write this series, if any of you were wondering. I
started writing this book when I was eight. Though there are similarities, I hope you can see this book as my own.
