Ender's Game takes place on Earth in the future at a
time when the world is in danger of another alien attack by the Buggers. The goverment controls a lot of the aspects of life
including how many kids you can have. Andrew "Ender" Wiggin is a "third". He is sort of an experiment by the
government to try and breed a whole army of geniuses to fight in the war against the Buggers in order to save the world. It
all starts off when Ender leaves his family because he was accepeted to the battle school. The people in charge there believe
he is the best chance for them to win the war yet he is only six. They push him to his limits and even past his limits and
isolate him from all the others. When he realizes how much he is starting to resemble his mean older brother, Peter, things
get very interesting as he tries to fight back against himself to not turn into a ruthless person like Peter.

When I first found out we were
going to have to read another book for my eighth grade Language Arts class I thought great, more work but this
book turned out to be so good I couldn't put it down. I finished it in 3 days but instead of being happy
that I had finished my assigned reading I was sad because I didn't want the story to end. Luckily I found out
there are more books in the series and I am now reading them.
