NOTE:  The right angle adapters may take a right turn or left turn as seen from the front of the cameras, depending on the camera model.  For the A570, A590, and SD1000 the adapter points the cable upward, and on the A640 downward.

• 8 inch total reach Mini-B Y-Splitter for use with a Ricoh CA-1 in conjunction with SDM (the Motorola splitter does not work with SDM).

NOTE:  The 8 inch separation splitters are very short. The eight inch number is measured by extending the Y as wide as I can go left to right, with he plugs pointing left to right away from each other.  If I point both plugs up and stretch them left to right, their centers can be, with a bit of stress on the connectors, about 5 1/2 inches (14cm) apart.  If I point them at each other and stretch them apart, the tips of the metal are about 2 5/8 inch (5.5 cm apart).  So, on a flat bar with both cameras right-side-up, using one angle adapter on the outside of the pair and none between the cameras you should be able to get a seperation of about 7 inches. What is your set-up?

Here are some pictures of the z_bar attached to one A570is and how they are set up.

There are three holes in the bar under each camera for 5 optional stereo bases from about 80mm to 130mm in 12.7mm intervals.

And it can be used as a portrat bar too if you have two splitters.

It comes with the camera mounting tripod screw and a regular screw that can be removed with a coin.  Included is a piece of aluminum tape to shim/adjust the alignement of you cameras.  Since each camera is slightly different, the z-bar probably won't align the cameras perfectly, and the alignement at full wide will not be the same alignement at full zoom.
