These commentaries I wrote on select passages of Scripture were all published in Teacher Helps, a quarterly magazine published by The Wesleyan Publishing House for teachers of their adult Sunday School curriculum. They each contain 2,000-2,500 words. The Wesleyan Church has graciously granted me permission to include these commentaries on this site.

I have been writing Bible commentary for over a decade. There's a reason The Wesleyan Church editors ask me to write them again and again: I work hard to dig into the Word and to find relevant applications to daily life along with well thought out exegesis. I strive for excellence. And yet what I write is easy enough for any layperson to understand.
