Clearwater Junior High School
Clearwater, Florida

If you are visiting this page from the Clearwater Historical Society web site, welcome!
(And if you aren't, welcome anyway!) This is a virtual tribute to a school that played a
major role in the education and development of several thousand students (and their
teachers)
for four decades, from 1924 to 1964.

Clearwater High School was originally named Central High School and that name was proudly emblazoned over the front entrance of the main building on Greenwood Avenue (pictured above, left). Today, the campus is a vacant block (above right). The school no longer exists by that name. Click here for more about Clearwater Junior High School.
