Dear Friends

Greetings and Love from Goshen Nursery School here in Soroti –Uganda. Its long since we send out our newsletter and updates. SO its my Joy always to keep you updated of what the Lord is doing through your prayers and support. Firstly last year was a year of prayer and we all saw the faithful hand of the Lord. We closed the term successful though we had lots of the challenges, like the Floods and this disease called EBOLA was the was we went for the Tour with lots of fear for this disease but the kids had set their minds to go and we thanks God He took us and brought us back well. Many people died and up to now the Roamers have come again please pray for the people of Uganda lots of problems in the same place .Otherwise we also had many things done last year and we want to thank you for your support and prayers ,our sports day and the Tour and we hope to start organizing for the sports day early this year, because there are lots of things needed to make the day colourful ,But in all l ended my year in BIG BIG BIG way l remember asking for your prayers for the plot of land for the School but the Lord we save is faithful we got the land and now what next? A building in that land l want thank Dr Joan and the Fancince Team for what you have done for us and the kids of Soroti, Thanks for your cheerful hearts and Love towards us,

Otherwise l have started registering new kids who are joining us for this new year. We are also trying to renew our certificate for AIDS ORPHANS EDUCATION UGANDA. This brings us to some thing we now have 11 kids supported by friends in the UK , some of these kids do not have good relatives to take good of them so this makes them not to do well at school ,its other big problem to me, There are 2ways to help this one by all this kids staying with me then Holidays they can go and live with there relatives and two by putting some of them in the Boarding Schools, please let all pray for them, I really thank God for Gerd he has passed to P,6 and he did well though he has been sick, and Milly who stays with me broke her leg she fell from the mongo tree at home so she has a lot of pain Salim relatives are also not co-operative pray for his Uncle he mistreats the kid so much.

THINGS WE THANK GOD FOR

- The plot of land

- All the 11 kids passed to next classes.

- Gift of friendship

- Goshen Nursery school has is the model school

- Some kids got Christmas gifts from the UK friends Thanks Susan, Yvonne ,Allan Barbara, Joan Dave and John and many of you who send your love to us may the Lord bless you all

PRAYER REQUEST FOR US

- Pray that the Lord will bring to us good Teaching staff our staffs have left for the better paying Schools Two have already gone but two are still there.

- Pray for the new kids who are coming in, The Lord might bring good kids and good parents as well

- Pray that the Lord will provide for the building of Goshen Nursery School.

- Pray for the new staff of Goshen

- Pray for me Winnie its hard time again l need God Grace this time even my health

GOSHEN NURSERY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER

September 28, 2007

Hi friends, it’s long since you had from us what the Lord is doing to us. We thanked you for your prayers towards us. We are at the last face of the year and as we told you in our last newsletter that the Lord is blessing us, the number of children grown to 138 kids and we have already registered 25kids for the year 2008, And our big problem is the space for kids to learn from but we just believe in God for the next year, l had an idea to start a primary one class, this would help me and these kids who finish Goshen and some of them do not even go any further with the Education we still have many orphans that we help and yet we can not be able to help them in their primary Education, anyway this is just a thought. Otherwise l want to thank all of you for your support toward me when l was sick and for your continued love and prayer and to you Dr Joan you have played a big role in my life cannot say all but God knows thanks. l have done all the test l needed to do and all are negative l thank God for that. l also want to send special thanks to all my friends who have helped in paying the school fees for the 11 kids may God bless you all and please keep on telling others so that the number grows and many will get to be helped, And to the mother of aunt Susan for what she has been doing for little kids, she has made over 50 jumpers for the kids, and may God bless you, we know you are sick but you have a heart for the kids of Soroti, And to you aunt Yvonne and Susan l have no good words to say thank you may God bless you. At the moment the people of Teso are undergoing a big problem of Floods. People are locked in their villages, and this is going to bring problems of food and sickness in the people. The church is doing well though we are still in rented school class but the Lord is doing great things and we are so grateful for the Lords Love and mercy for his people, we pray that the Lord may bless his people, At the end of last term.

As you know we had another sports day and it was wonderful thanks for your support and prayers, the children performed in many activities and we are planning for the Tour at the end of this term we need your support and prayers. Here are photos of the sports day and we have our prayer requests The little girls and their mothers playing netball the children and the staffs and all the parents Marching in Town and the polic officer leading the way, we also had a band leading with Goshen songs. The boys and girls having creative dance. The boys ready to play with their parents football. And finally the best performers got the gifts and then all the kids the parents had a meal. And the boys and girls enjoying themselves in the Mary Go Round.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Pray for the Aids Orphans

Pray for kids and the parents of Goshen Nursery School.

- pray for me as you know l have gone a lot of pain in my life

- We need the land for the school

- Pray for Tabisa and Rita, Rita’s father is also very sick.

- Pray for the Church and our pastor John

- Pray for my son Jarius he is doing his primary seven exams next month.

- Pray for Teso for floods and too much rain

Things we thanks God for

- God provided us with good health

- God is increasing the number of the kids every year

- Our school is the model school in the town of Soroti.

- The Bible curriculum is appreciated by the Education office and the parents.
