1st let me get some of the important info out of the way. Nikita is planning on being at MLBR 2(Kittys)( Love Ranch) July 9th. Her actual being on the floor and doing line ups should be July 10th. Her plans are to be there anywhere between 1 week and 2 weeks. Like all things having to do with working girls schedules, there is always the possibility of last minute changes.

Now let me give you a brief summary of my recent USA tour. It would take a book to explain all the wonderful things we saw and did. The whole adventure was absolutely fabulous. I put in around 6500 to 7000 miles driving 2 different vehicles. I also booked 5 different flights.

About a year ago I had this inkling to just jump in my RX8 and drive all over the USA. I would go from the west coast to the East coast and back again. Stopping along the way wherever I happen to be when I got tired. No real plans or scheduling. Then about 6 month ago I asked Nikita if she might want to join me. She was up for it. The problem would be how the 2 of us would be able to handle tons of road time with lots of clothes and supplies in my little RX8. Also their was some concern on how we would be able to handle 20 to 30 days cooped up together on the road and in Hotel rooms. The solution was that we would use her truck. Great truck! The trip would be broken up into 2 parts. Part A being the 2 of us driving to New Orleans then catching a plane to New York City. We would then fly back to New Orleans. She would hop on a plane back home.

Part B would be me driving her truck back to her place alone, experiencing my desire to be freewheeling across the USA. No real schedule just going wherever the adventure took me. Both parts of the trips were great. We shared many experiences together. At the same time I also got to go out and just see a lot of the U.S of A and meet some interesting people. It all turned out far better than the highest expectations, I had hoped for before leaving on the trip.

Here are just a few of the many things we saw and did.

1. I leave my house and head to Reno

2. I pick up Nikita. We switch vehicles and head for Las Vegas.

3. Its off to Grand Canyon area where we experience the Skywalk.

4. We go to Sedona and experience a Balloon ride over Sedona.

5. 4 days on the road, thunder storms and tornadoes all around us.

6. We get to Graceland. An Elvis wanna be sings Happy birthday to me on my birthday.

7. We drive to New Orleans. One day its a swamp boat ride where we get a great tour through the swamps. Petting and feeding the alligators along the way. Then its Bourbon Street night life.

8. We land in New York City. 4 nights and 5 days in the Big Apple 2 blocks from the Empire State Building.. A harbor tour and a magnificent helicopter ride over the city are fabulous. The other times are spent enjoying the city. It was all good.

9. We fly back to New Orleans. I freewheel home the next 9 days.

10. The people we met. The little girl with all the Why questions, at Sedona on the Balloon ride.. The old man in Big Springs Tx. We shared war stories about Vietnam. The hitch Hicker from Switzerland on the Swamp tour in New Orleans. The many experiences. all these things made this one fantastic trip.

New York city was Fabulous!!! The highlite was the Helicopter flight over the city. Time Square, the Harbor Tour and just being in the Big Apple was an experience I will remember for a long time. The only down side was that I was too busy enjoying New York that I took very few pics.
