I believe the majority opinion is that the ladies and Brothels that utilize the internet benefit greatly from it. I agree to a point. I just think that only a very small percentage of the ladies and Brothels benefit and it isn't nearly as powerful as it's made out to be. Let me explain why i think this way.

As you know I did one of the Brothel Awards votes. One of the most surprising things to me was how it turned out in comparison to good and bad internet publicity. This was especially true in the Brothels. WHR, the winner, for the most part gets plenty of internet publicity. Mostly good. Sheri's gets quite a bit of publicity. Lots of it bad.Yes! they do also have a few cheerleaders. They also have a few posters who's mission has been to destroy them. They came in 2nd place. They were also within 1 or 2 votes of the WHR, on my Awards voting.

The MLBR, A Brothel that probably gets more bad internet publicity than any other Brothel, did as well as all the other Reno/CC Brothels except the WHR. They came in along with the rest of the Brothels 4 or 5 votes below the top 3. One of the Reno/CC Brothels had 1 more vote than the rest. The rest were all tied.

The ladies are a bit different. Most of the ladies had some or a lot of internet presence. Most of it good. The only exceptions that i notice is Lilly of WHR who does have some internet presence but very little. She did as well as some of the other ladies that have a whole lot of positive internet presence. The other exception might be AirForce AMY. She has a lot of internet presence, but it's fairly even on the positive and negative. She like MLBR and Sheri's has some that seem to go out of their way to attack her.

My Awards vote also differed in its outcome than Fredt's did. Fredt did not post much about the Brothels and ladies and how they all placed. I have had conversations with those that helped Fred with his vote. What i learned was that other than the winner of the BOY, are results were very different.

I have my theories on this. I had the advantage of seeing who voted on Fredt's Awards. I also know who voted on my Awards. From what I can observe the difference was on the sites that voted. Fredt's vote seemed to have more votes from SIN. My vote had more votes from the Old NVB and we were split on the voters from NBT. I know many of these votes cross over. This is just a generalization.

I also think that the way we both held the vote had some effect on the outcome. I had one Vote. Everybody votes for their favorite over a 6 month period. You could only vote one time. The winners were those with the most vote at the end. Fredt's vote was 3 separate votes. The nomination vote. Then out of that the top nominators were but in a 2nd vote, I'm not sure how many that consisted of. The top of that group then went into a final round. All voters could vote on each individual vote. I do not believe they had to stick to their original vote from the 1st round. Fredt can correct me on parts i don't have right.

YES!! the internet is a player with the Brothels and ladies. How big of a player is mostly opinion. I think not as big as the message boards would like to think.
