Amazon Animal Hospital offers boarding for our clients pets. Whether
its watching your loved one for a few hours during the day, or taking care of them for a number of weeks during an extended
stay our staff has the experience necessary to insure your pet has a happy and stress free stay.
Our kennels are air conditioned and have music playing during
the day for our guests. Each pet receives the highest level of care and attention that we can provide with at least 4
daily walks for dogs and playtimes for cats.
Our clients tell us that they love the personal attention that
we provide for themselves and their pets, and this is reflected in our kennels. We limit the amount of animals we board for
the following reasons:
- MORE ANIMALS = MORE STRESS
ON THEM
Anyone who has ever been in a large scale boarding kennel will
probably tell you that they couldn't wait to get out. The loud noise generated from having that many dogs in the
same place at once can be too much to handle. Employee's at these kennels are made to wear earplugs as the noise level is
consistantly above what is considered to be a safe level. Unless you live in a football stadium it is unlikely that your pet
is used to this level of noise and will consequently be more stressed in this situation.
- FEWER BOARDERS = MORE
PERSONAL CARE
We pride ourselves in the care that we provide for all of our
patients, and that includes our boarders. All boarders receive extra attention and care during their stay with us. Limiting
the volume of animals that we board at one time allows us to focus indivdually on each boarder and do everything possible
to insure they have a great stay with us, thus putting your mind at rest while you are away
Animals can be dropped-off / picked-up as early as 7:30AM Monday
to Friday and as late as 7:00PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 5:00PM on other weekdays.
We maintain a clean and sterile kennel. All animals that wish to
board must be up to date on our required vaccines and free from Internal and External Parasites (Fleas, tapeworms etc..).
If they are not then we can update or treat them upon entry into the hospital.
Unless otherwise requested all animals boarding for more than 3
days receive a complementary bath.
