SEWING RETREAT
JANUARY 15-18, 2009
We
are currently working on a Babylock retreat in January 2009 to be held at the Life Enrichment Center in Fruitland Park. Guests
include John Deer, Brian
Bailey, Stephanie Kimura, Christopher
Nejman, Margaret Tulley, Missy Billingsley & Ann van der Kley.
Our
tentative schedule of classes and seminars will include the following. Margaret Tulley will present an Evolve serger project.
Christopher Nejman's class will highlight the new Embellisher. Stephanie Kimura will have another wonderful hands-on class
involving one of her patterns. Brian Bailey's presentation will include any new Designer's Gallery products. And last but
not least Missy Billingsley's presentation will be all about the brand new Babylock Ellisimo. Future newsletters will give
you additional details, however make sure you make your calendar for January 15-18 so you don't miss any of the fun.

Hi Everyone!
If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of Christopher's events, please, please
make every effort to do so. We had the privilege of hosting his seminar this last week and it was a blast. We have had lots
of guests, and lots of programs presented by any number of educators, celebrity guests, etc., but NONE as much fun and creatively
inspiring as Chris' presentation!
If you have visions of using an embellisher machine as so much wool roving and all the traditional
mediums, then send that vision out the window.
Just looking at his pillows and his artistic flair will send you into another universe!
So, to Christopher
from all of us at Jackman's Fabrics, we say

I had the pleasure of attending the Jackman's event, and it was AWESOME!!!
Christopher is a dynamic presenter, and very gracious and humble at his current and continuing success.
It was a seminar that I was given so many great ideas to take and run with.
But I think most importantly, he really gave the message of empowerment and self-value to the group. So many women need
to hear that message and be encouraged in believing in themselves.
His techniques are so simple with such beautiful results that even those who
may think they're not creative could still come up with magnificent pieces. Let me tell you, the photos in the book
do not do the pieces justice. If you get a chance to take a class with Christopher, jump at it. You won't regret
it for a minute!

Hi, I'm one of the attendee's at Jackman's Fabrics for
the "Christopher Event"!!! I do mean EVENT!!
If your within a zillion
miles from a Christopher event-GO!!! Worth the gas, time & money!!! I
had such a wonderful
time, learned much, his videos are great, but
seeing him do his stuff in person is a wonderful learning experience.
Getting
to see & touch his pillows is wonderful. He is so personable-
you feel like you've known him for eons!! He made us
all feel so
special & seemed thrilled that we come to see him. I'll go see him
again next chance I get!!
Now,
Jackman's Fabrics were wonderful Hosts-gave us all 1st class
attention & wonderful food. Thank You Jackman's
for having
Christopher in St. Louis!!
