Dennis Boardman JD, LMT
I was born in 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska. I got a college degree in Criminal Justice in 1973. From 1976 to
1979, I studied law at the University of Nebraska, in Lincoln and was a clerk for Legal Services of SE Nebraska, the regional
office of Legal Aid. Throughout my law school days, I wanted to help those left behind by our society.
I gradulated
law school and received my Juris Doctor (JD) degree in 1979. I moved to Oregon for the beauty of the
Northwest. For a year I was the staff attorney in the Oregon Legal Services office in Pendleton, serving the needs of the
poor in NE Oregon.
In 1981, I moved to Portland and hung out my shingle and started studying Bankruptcy law. I have
practiced in this area ever since.
In the 80's I became the father of a beautiful East Indian baby girl who was adopted
by my girlfriend. After we married we adopted another beautiful girl from Colombia South America.
In 1992, I added
second career. I became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). This set of skills helped me understand how stress works on the
human body and how to relieve it.
You could say I have been DE-STRESSING folks for over 25 years.
I now practice both law and massage!
I have more balance in my careers and in my life. I think I can help you get back your balance
as well.
