From: I, Sinking, as Mercury Rises
Bolivia Attacks!
Mathematicians all,
lie plastered in flower box room.
Counting chickens, while
columns of blue ants
crave red ink, and
drive by in green sedans
on alternate black Fridays.
It’s all part of the twelve
deep thinking moose
recovery program.
To enter the room
swaying,
using minimal tails with maximal effort.
The ants delight in the bullwinkle breath, and
up the nose
with precarious hand holds
they seek a lumen of light
amongst pounds of diners club flesh.
Meanwhile,
dancing in the next room
are last minute waltzers
tapping their maraschino toes
on the board meeting table
having overly polished wood,
and crass thinking embedded in the legs.
Two particles of bliss float down
from somewhere,
and become like best friends on a honeymoon.
African heat,
sweat ,
divide the mathematicians.
Some board a boat of good eggs
rollicking on the seas of
death serene,
while some escape,
to heal a flash flood
of mandatory rain and
sunfish bathing beauties on the make.
This is when Bolivia attacks.
