After years with only two grandcats, Doc's son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Mary Dyal of Carrollton, presented Doc with a beautiful baby grandson. Dakota Ray Dyal was born January 12, 2005
by emergency c-section, 5 1/2 weeks early. He weighed in at a whopping 5 lbs. 2 oz and 17 1/2 inches long. After 3 weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit, he went home weighing 5 lbs. 8 oz. Dakota continues to grow and do well,
was 4 years old on January 12th, is crazy about "Thomas the Train", and can name all the engines in the collection. Golfer grandpa, "Papa Don", is already teaching him how to play golf! Congratulations, Doc!

Monthly Specials
FEBRUARY is National Pet Dental Health month.
We love this promotion so much because it really helps us emphasize the importance of dental health, so we also offer discounted dentals in AUGUST. Make your plans early to bring your pet in and receive 20% off on the dental procedure.
JULY is Microchip Identification Awareness Month.
Millions of animals are lost every year and only 14%
of dogs and 4% of cats that end up shelters are ever returned to their rightful owners. Due
primarily to the overwhelming amount of unidentified animals, shelters
find no other alternative but to euthanize animals because of space
limitations.
Even pets who only stay indoors go missing! 41% of
people looking for a lost cat in the shelter identified the cat as
indoor only! Doors and gates can be left open by guests or children,
natural disasters, fire or other accidents can separate you from your
pet.
Collars and tags may not be enough to get your pet home. They can get caught, slip off, or be removed. Tags wear down and become unreadable.
Make sure YOUR pet never ends up being euthanized simply because it can’t be identified.
During July, we will be giving a $5 discount on
microchipping!
