sharing wheels community bike shop

redbike.jpg

The membership program is how people donate and volunteer their time to a charitable program, use our shop and tools to work on their own bikes, learn repair skills, and earn bicycles and used parts. The focus of Sharing Wheels Community Bicycle Shop is on education, so membership gives access to our repair classes to gain basic bicycle maintenance knowledge.

One hour spent volunteering gets $5 credit toward bikes, used parts and membership. Volunteer credits do not apply to new parts, new parts must be purchased. Any initial hours must be put towards membership if no financial donation is being made. Volunteer hours are how we keep bicycles on the road and connect them to people. Financial donations are how we keep the lights on, pay the rent and fund charitable programs.

Contact us for a membership form or if you want more details!
