On Monday, I went with most of my family on the Matterhorn bobsled. We did a Dumbo ride. We also did a train ride. And saw the Parade of Dreams. We also were able to see Fantasmic and the fireworks.

On Tuesday we went to Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and Thunder Mountain. It was so fun . I also went to Tom Sawyer Island. We had lunch at Carnation Café. Then we saw the fireworks from the hotel.

On Wednesday I went on the Tower of Terror in California Adventure. While I was in it I went into negative Gs which means I have experienced basically space. It is so fun and if you go to California Adventure I recommend it!! Then I went on the Maliboomer. It shoots you up 18 floors in a few seconds. And then you free fall most of the way down.

Last Wednesday was the beginning of my school's fall camping trip. We spent 3 days at Sage Hill campground. In that 3 days we did 4 workshops. Only on the first and second day. On the third day we packed up and left.

 

The most fun thing about the camping trip was getting GLOW STICKS.  Also I went fishing, and my friend Bohden caught a fish.  My dad set up the tent, but during the day I got the tent to myself because he was at work.

 Yesterday was my Birthday party! Everyone showed up except Benj and Rain. From Eli I got a Visorak,from Lincoln I got a Beany and a BB pistol.  From Zach I got these magnets that bbbbaaaazzzziiiiiiinngggg. From John W,. I got a RAHKSHI, REALLY rare!!!! And from Elizabeth and Christian I got two books and a Vahki. Then Eli came over and we played. Then my grandparants came over and I got even more presents.

 

 From Steve I got a motorcycle helmet, from my grandparents I got a plane model, and from mom and dad I got an electric kit.

 This week was like any other. I went to shool like always. The only thing that was different, was we had an unusual amount of play-dates -- most of them with a friend named Eli. It got topsy-turvy around here.

 

 Just to let you know I have a birthday coming up on the 26th. But to manage everything my party is on the 24th, which is on the weekend. I am turning nine, so we have a tradition that I can only invite nine people.But my mom is going to bend the rule so I can invite ten.

I am eight years old.  So four years ago was half my life ago.  But this is what I remember.

 

I remember being in the car with one of my many baby sitters, and hearing over the radio a low solemn voice saying that the terrorists crashed in to the towers.

 

Fly by wire means that when you move the stick, you aren't moving the flaps with your own strength; instead you send a signal to a computer and it moves the flaps.
