Orchids are fascinating to me. They are so intricate and variable.

 

     They were the flower of choice for my wedding bouquet. After my mother made my bouquet, she gave me the plant from which the flowers grew. I didn't know much of anything about growing orchids so I just treated it like an ordinary house plant. It survived, but just barely. After some years it did flower again, but then it died.
