Rada Rabbits and Cavies 4-H Club

Winner of the 2004
Benton County 4-H Club of the Year Award

Welcome to the Rada Rabbits and Cavies 4-H club web page!

Rada Rabbits 4-H Youth Club is located in the Tri-Cites in Southeastern Washington State. The club was started on November 8, 1996 by splitting from another 4-H club called Rada Ranch & Home. Cynthia McCready was the Project Leader of the rabbit project for 2 years with Rada Ranch & Home and continued for the next 7 years with Rada Rabbits 4-H Youth Club.

As of January 1st, 2002, Aggie Mowry became the Project Leader allowing Cynthia to take on less responsibility as a Activity Leader. This club has been active for nine years now. Presently our club has fifteen members. We show a varitey of breeds of rabbits and cavies.

Our club meets at least once a month with our officers presiding over the meeting. We offer an organized club that enhances teamwork, frienship, and shared knowledge of the small animal project. Our club has its own t-shirts and collects yearly club dues of $10.
