Virginia Johnson, Ph.D.
Dr. Ginny Johnson is a licensed psychologist. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Boston University. She was trained in Massachusetts, both in community mental health centers and hospital settings. She has worked in inpatient hospital settings, as well as school-based and outpatient clinics in several community mental health centers and private practices. She has specialized training in neuropsychology and in the past has worked as a neuropsychologist providing neuropsychological testing. She also has recent training in couples therapy. Dr. Johnson treats a wide range of ages, including children, parents, families, couples and adults. She provides assessment and treatment for the following problems and concerns:
Anxiety in children, adolescents and adults
Depression in children, adolescents and adults
Assessment and treatment of developmental and neurologically based problems with children/adolescents and adults
Children, adolescents, families and adults who struggle with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Relationship difficulties with individuals, couples and families
Coping with life transitions and stresses, including divorce, death or loss of job and career
Family stress, including blended family issues and high conflict divorces
