My wife and I got together with my Uncle Gray and Aunt Roberta for a
weekend trip out to Mojave National Perserve. We had been wanting to go out there and my uncle and aunt had been there
before. They were willing to show around.
Above is one of the many directional signs located thru out the park. For those who
don't know there is disperse camping in the park.

After a good meal we watched the sunset,it was beautiful.On Sunday
we did the tour of Mitchell Carvens, its worth the drive to get there. (picture to the right)

There had been rain lately in the area. I didn't myself expect to see a stream running along
the road to Mid Hills campground. We ended up hiking up stream,Uncle Gray bought along his gold pan and we did find some very
small gold flakes.(picture below)
