This is the second day of our trip on the I-40. We had stopped and pay a visit
at my parents in Kingman,Az. the day before. We are headed to friends of ours in New Mexico. There will be many stops before
getting to South Carolina.

This is the last rest stop at the Az/New Mexico state line on the I-40 east bound, its a easy
on/off place with Indian shops close by.

We have arrived, Ghost Rose Ranch, our friends Strom and LT have run this horse ranch (3000
arces) for several years. It was good to see them again. We had met under some unusual conditions and have stayed in contact
ever since.

This was the conditions under which we had met,South Narrows (N.M.) campground had flooded
out for the first time in its history.

Storm has many fine horses, here's one of the ranch hands feeding them.

Storm has been trying to train one of the ranch dogs to herd the horses and all he get
"who me" look, it just enought I bark when people come around.

Its a beautiful morning (6/10/06).Storm couldn't due much visiting this morning, the
running of a ranch waits for no one.We said our good byes, thank them for the wonderful time we had there.

Our last look of the entrance of Ghost Rose Ranch, from here we are headed to Amarillo,Tx.
to visit cousins that live there. This would only be a one day visit, then off to Cleveland,Oka. to see the grandkids.
