Welcome to my website, please bear with me this is my first website effort!
We are Juli & Bobby Parker and we are in Clearwater Florida, we have been in Ridgebacks since the mid 1980's.
We are members of our national breed club Rhodesian Ridgebacks Club of the United States. We show in conformation and also
breed Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They are home raised with children. We are always happy to talk dogs so if you have any questions
please feel free to give us a call.
Research before chosing a breed is very important. No one breed is right for everyone! Please do lots of research and speak
to people who own them. It is also important to think about your lifestyle. Ridgebacks are active dogs that need some
space to run. But they are also couch potatoes. They are hounds so were bred to think for themselves, so sometimes they can
choose to use selective hearing. They want to spend their time with you where you are. So if you are looking for a breed to
live outside this is not the right breed for you. They will not be happy like that and in turn you will not be happy with
things they choose to do because they are not happy.
They are a generally healthy breed living generally to 12-14yrs of age. Anyone you purchase one should have all their breeding
stock OFA'ed for several generations.
