Doctors of optometry are primary health care
providers who examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the visual
system, the eye and associated structures as well as diagnose related systemic conditions.
Often this involves regular eye
examinations and the prescription of glasses or contact lenses. But it can also mean
the prescribing of eye drops to treat an eye infection or other problem, or monitoring for
changes related to certain diseases such as diabetes, or providing follow-up care after
various types of surgeries.
If you have any questions or would like to make
an appointment for an examination, please feel free to call us at (608) 742-7050. Thank you!
