Uncle Al's TR7 Homepage

My 1976 TR7

It's not too much to look at yet, but keeping it going has been the major battle so far.

It has a stock 2.0 with Weber DGV downdrafts and a Crane XR700 ignition. I've replaced the rear axle with the later model (3.08 ratio) from one of the parts cars. It doesn't help much in town, but it's good for freeway cruising.

Due to unforseen circumstances

I won't be taking orders

for a short time.

Wood Trim Inserts for TR7 & TR8

It has come to my attention that there are imitation inserts out there.

Please check for my label on the wood to be sure they're made by Uncle Al.

If it doesn't have my label, it's probably not mine.

I am now making wood trim pieces for the TR7 and TR8. These are custom made and can be purchased in a number of fine hardwoods. They are available in a complete set or as individual pieces, finished or unfinished. The examples above are done in Walnut with clear Varathane.
