We Believe in the authority and inspiration
of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures. We acknowledge Jesus the Christ as not only the central theme but the
Lord of Scripture, the Word. The Holy Spirit illuminates and empowers the church for the task of interpreting and applying
scripture.

We Believe Our interpretations
of the Scriptures are a work in progress and subject to error and learning. This problem exists not because the Word is flawed,
but because we are. An honest approach to the Bible reveals the essential truths that guarantee life to the believing student.
A life-long persuit of the truth of God's Word can produce a harvest of wisdom, leadership and service. God never intended
His Word to be torn to peices in dispute, debate and division. Neither did He allow for any compromise on the central truths
of Who He is and how He would redeem mankind through His Perfect Son, the Word. Sound doctrine will always be based in a Risen
Christ.
