* Chairman Thomas called the meeting to order at 7:05.
Old Business:
* Pastor will contact Joanne Hawkins for a contact for a chimney sweep to clean
chimney prior to starting heating system
* Additional mulch has been delivered for preschool play area. Richard will repair
the filter fabric where it has been pulled up.
* RB will look at having the drainage coming off the parking lot toward the play area
controlled better.
* Pastor Sandra reported that the parsonage deck has been cleaned and sealed; she says
it looks wonderful. Mulch has been delivered to the parsonage and will need to be spread.
* Trustees discussed the possibility of getting boiler insurance for the Church, however,
they are not sure there is a need for this insurance.
* RB got one estimate on replacing the window in narthex. Tom will talk
with another carpenter about getting another estimate for the narthex window and for the replacement of the Pastor's office
window.
* Richard is going to talk to the Victory Baptist church and Sara Armstrong about posting
a NUMC sign on their property. He will also look at repairing the existing sign at Fitzwater and Rt. 28.
New Business:
* Melanie has had a request for ventilation in the kitchen. The trustees believe
that there is not a reasonable way to provide adequate ventilation to this room.
* Church Charge Conference report: RB completed the form to the extent possible
at the meeting and will collect the additional needed information to finish the form this week.
* The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
