NEVER POINT YOUR OPEN TELESCOPE or EYEs AT THE SUN

THE HEAT GENERATED by the SOLAR IMAGE WILL MELT or SHATTER ANYTHING. SPECIAL TELESCOPE REFLECTING COVERS ARE NECESSARY TO VIEW THE SUN. NEVER USE THE HERSHILIAN WEDGE and DARK FILTERS TO OBSERVE THE SUN.  SPECIAL GLASSES SHOULD BE WARN DURING TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSES.

If you really want a look into Astronomy by Stars, Galaxies and Constellations and the correct methods of observing for data please look at this book and the series of books by this author.

The Cambridge Encyclopedia of Stars, by James B. Kaler, Cambridge University Press, ISBN 0-521-81803-6.

The above book tells all about the deep problems that hamper good Astronomy viewing and research.  It is one thing to collect light in our buckets, it is with low probability that any one can make sense of the Universe from the floating Earth-Sun orbits.

J B Kaler has an excellent series of books on all Amateur accessable Astronomy Techniques.

SCALE TRAIN WALL MOUNTs and HANGER BRACKETS

Do you have G to Z scale trains and you would like to wall mount both train types at the same time? We have dual tunnel wall mount brackets. The G style train rides on the top of the bracket 6" to 12" away from the wall, and any smaller trains ride through either 1 or 2 tunnel holes in the I-beam wall mount bracket. These wall brackets can also be used stand-alone for just hanging your trains on the wall for display.

We also have available plastic 48" long U-shaped track channel supports that span from wall-mount to wall-mount or across a door width or corner window opening.

Any size Train can use the wall hanger I-beam brackets to hang track. Hangers are 6" t o 16" long

Astronomy Telescope and Parts

Pre-cast astronomical telescope kit parts are the order of the day. If you need an aluminum mirror cell for your telescope or a set of finder mount brackets we have the cast aluminum parts or we will machine one from scratch. You finish them at home in your spare time or we can machine them for you for additional cost. We can also cast you special order telescope mirror cells, finder brackets, rotation rings, and adorning parts. I can grind-polish-figure mirrors to about 20" F4 to F12.

Click on the special created pages for the area of your interest at the top left of this HOME web page.

If you need another hobby and like Satellite TV you can become your own satellite receiver station.  Click on the link to read Joe's sattelite free to air (FTA) reception methods.  There are lots of SETI signals comming from space. Have fun receiving and hearing other places around the Universe.
