100% natural garnet which has no known treatments or enhancements
imperial garnet is from one mining area in southern tanzania, discovered in late 2005
rare - especially in sizes above 1ct - only a few stones found every month
most stones have small inclusions that do not detract from the overall beauty of this material
some imperial garnet exhibits a color-shift effect from flourescent to incandescent light
cuts:

calibrated up to 5mm
all standard cuts and free sizes
