This Unit reviews basic information students would have covered in Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Grade social studies classes.  We quickly review the features on physical and political maps of the United States.  We also look into the cause --> effect relationships found in the exploration and early colonial periods in U.S. History.  This review covers the information in chapters one through five in the textbook Creating America used in our Eigth Grade Social Studies class.
