FLASH CARD FORMAT
Please remember that your flash cards can be made of unlined paper. 3x5 cards work best, but paper is acceptable!
FRONT side of "card"
X = picture to represent term
Write the term in LARGE PRINT – you do not have to use all capital letters, just make the letters for the term are LARGE!
BACK of "card"
- Define the term in your own words - five words or less please
Then write the word in a sentence - A COMPLETE SENTENCE (Put a capital letter in front and punctuation at
the end!) Try to have the sentence help you remember why that person, event, idea or place is important! You
have to remember the STORY!!!
