THE
FIRE
|
I lie here, rotting from lethargy, decaying from the inside out. I turn and watch the smoke fill the sky waiting
for something to matter, for me to care, watching the destruction of all you once held dear, of all you were
taught to cherish, obey, protect. I smile a cold grin, a parody of joy, of beauty, I smile as your screams begin I
smile as your blood spills I laugh to see your dreams eaten by the flames my eyes feasting on your pain, knowing
that it was you who made me, you who taught me to hate; it was you who taught me to destroy you.
