Cycling your tank with out hurting your fish
I built a home-made trickle filter. I spent about $35 building it. I had originaly built one useing 2gal. buckets but it was Ugly Ugly! The cheapest "real" filter I have seen cost about $100 so I think I'm ahead of the game....
