2009 Purple Divisionals Results

Planning for 2010 starts NOW! We hope to see you all back at the pool next season.

League update 12/3/09: The Marlins have moved up into the Orange Division for the 2010 season; with Ben Lomond and Westridge. As of now, it looks like we are hosting Divisionals...that means we have a lot of planning to do during the season, having adequate parent volunteers and designing a Divisionals t-shirt.

Exact meet schedule is being decided by the League - we should have the final schedule by February.

Practice Times for 2010:

Monday through Thursday - 6:15 to 8:15pm ET

Starting on Friday, June 25, Friday morning practices are held from 7am to 9am.

Season is from June 1 through July 31. With the team banquet on August 1.

Welcome to the Veterans Park Marlins Swim Team! Our team revolves around competitive and recreational summer swimming, while also having fun, building swimmer confidence, and making new friends.

All children from ages 4 to 18 are welcome to join the team, however, we cannot provide swim lessons. If your child has never swam before, please visit your local Prince William County Recreation Center or visit www.swimkids.us for information on swim lessons.

We have coaches on staff with years of swimming and coaching experience to guide children through all the strokes to improve their technique and skill level.
