practice or a meet this week (Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th) due to the Holiday. We wish every family a safe and restful Fourth of July!
Fourth Meet – July 11th

If you will not be at the meet, please alert your coach by Wednesday prior to
the meet and put it into the blue Coaches Notebook. M.I.T. parents, please check
with Coach Tony the week of the meet to see if your child is entered into events.

Visit from SwimKids –
SwimKids will have a meeting for interested parents
during practice on Tuesday, July 7th at 6:45pm (rain date is July 14). The representative will discuss swimming programs that they offer to swimmers of all
ages, all levels and abilities. SwimKids offers great programs that will advance
your swimmer’s skills and techniques in preparation for next year’s summer swimming. We encourage all parents to attend, especially those with M.I.T. swimmers.
Swim-A-Lap – Wednesday, July
8 during regular practice time. Swimmers have been provided a pledge sheet
in their folder and are asked to collect pledges or donations from family and friends.
A Pizza Party will be held following the event for the swimmers. Families
can also order additional one-topping pizzas at $7 per pizza. Pizza orders and
money are due on July 2nd. A sign-up sheet is at the shed. We also need parent volunteers to help count the swimmers’
laps that night.
