We are excited to announce that Tiffany Ellis will continue to be an 8 and Under coach as well as the Head Coach for the Marlins!  We feel her years of experience with the team as a swimmer and as coach will be a great asset to the team.

 

Joining Tiffany with the 8 and Unders will be Linda Erickson.  Linda helped out last season with the M.I.T. group and assisting the other age group coaches.  We are very excited that she will be a full-time coach this season.

 

Below is the full coaching list:

 

Ben Neuhaus - former swimmer and coach with the Marlins is coming back to coach the 13-14 and 15-18 age groups.  Ben was a collegiate swimmer and has a wealth of knowledge to give to these mature swimmers.

 

Connor Schwalm - returning for his 2nd year of coaching, Connor will be coaching the 11-12 age group.

 

Sammy Neuhaus - is returning to the Marlins as a first-year full-time coach with the 9-10's. 

 

Tiffany Ellis and Linda Erickson - will be guiding the 8 and Unders to a great 2009 season.

 

Tony O'Brien - will lead the M.I.T. swimmers.  Tony assisted the team last year with this group of developing swimmers and performed such a wonderful job in getting the swimmers ready (and legal) for the meets. 

 

LeeAnn, Sarah, Afton and two parent helpers - will assist Tony with the M.I.T. swimmers.

 

Melanie Erickson and Chris Lourenzo - will begin their coaching experience as Substitute coaches with the Marlins.  Melanie and Chris will assist the age group coaches and assist us in providing additional one-on-one attention to those swimmers who need it.
