Laura Dietrich, daughter of Al and Helen Dietrich, was crowned the 2008 Michigan Apple Queen. Laura is the granddaughter of Edward and Marian Kelly and Raymond and Pat Dietrich, all of Conklin. The Dietrich family has been in the orchard business for over 150 years.
Laura, 17 years old, is a senior
at Sparta High School.
She plans to continue her education with the goal of becoming a doctor.
