The ReisterSchool was located on the northwest corner of Gooding
Street and 16th Avenue.A traditional one-room school, it served Grades kindergarten – 8th.It closed in 1956.The school building was later used for migrant housing.
Reister School in 1910 - Maude Finkler was the teacher.
