CELEBRATING OVER 15 YEARS IN FAMILY CHILD CARE
 
It is my goal to provide a loving and safe environment where children can feel comfortable and their development potential can be realized in a positive, stimulating, and creative manner and each child can develop a strong sense of self worth. Using a basic curriculum encompassing shapes, colors, letters, numbers, music, art, and introduction to sign language, geography and math, children will be able to learn on an individual and small group basis. Children can develop both fine and gross motor skills as well as critical thinking and sensory skills. Children will learn through traditional methods such as worksheets, story time, circle time, and through more abstract teaching methods, such as, manipulative materials, creative and dramatic play, hands on activities, and teachable moments throughout the day. While an academic education is an important building block for our Children, appropriate social skills, manners, communication, and home living skills are equally as important. Through my preschool program, it is my goal for each child to graduate and be fully prepared to start kindergarten.
