Iredell House on fall retreat at Stonehaven

The current residents of Iredell include Barry Bennett, Jana Bennett, Liz Clasen, Dana Dillon, Kent Dunnington, Joey Sherrard, and Clifton Stringer.

Barry Bennett is in his first year here at Iredell, but his second year at Duke Divinity School.  A proud native Oklahoman, he knows more trivia about his home state than anyone has a right to.  He graduated from OSU (Go Pokes!) and can occasionally be found wearing orange in their honor.

Jana Bennett is beginning her fourth year as a resident of Iredell and also her fourth year working on her doctorate in Duke's religion department under Stanley Hauerwas.  She is a native of Colorado.  And she's planning on marrying former Iredellian Joel Schickel in May 2005.

Liz Clasen is beginning her first year in Iredell, and her first year at Duke's Sanford Institiute of Public Policy.  Her family is in eastern Tennessee, but she comes to us most recently from Charlotte, where she was working with the Urban Ministry Center.

Dana Dillon is in her fourth year living in Iredell and also in her fourth year working on her doctorate under Stanley Hauerwas at Duke.  She hails from Texas, but has spent time in Seattle and, of course, at Notre Dame.  Go Irish!

Kent Dunnington is beginning his first year in Iredell as well as his first year at Duke Divinity School.  He comes to us most immediately from Colorado, though he still has some Texas connections as well.  He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma.

Joey Sherrard (don't pronounce the second r) is a first year divinity student and a first year Iredell resident.  He is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, but comes to us after spending a year at the Trinity Forum Academy in Maryland, where he met former Iredellian Brooks Lumpkin who sent him our way.

Clifton Stringer is a native of Austin, Texas, and a graduate of the University of Texas (Hook 'em, 'Horns!).  He spent a couple years working in a UMC down in Austin, before coming to us for his first year both at Iredell and at Duke Divinity School.
