History

Maiden Justice's first appearance has not been recorded, although she may have been active in the early part of 1931. It is believed that she was inspired by the Statesman and joined that hero as a founding member of the Freedom Phalanx in spring of 1931. Like the rest of the Freedom Phalanx, Maiden Justice helped defend Paragon City from an Axis attack in 1941. She then traveled to Europe to fight alongside the Dawn Patrol.

Like the Statesman, Maiden Justice appears to age more slowly than normal humans, allowing her to remain at the peak of her powers. While the extent of her adventures since WWII are unknown, it has been established that she fought against the Rikti and survived that horrible alien invasion.

Maiden Justice bears a striking resemblance to Ms. Liberty: both have short blonde hair and costumes with similar gloves, boots, and color schemes. It's possible that Ms. Liberty is related to Maiden Justice.

Maiden Justice is prominently displayed in many City of Heroes promotional materials which has led to the assumption that she has survived the Rikti Invasion and may appear in-game.
