History
The hero known as Thunderclap began his crime-fighting career after inventing
a pair of boots that enable him to fly. During the Rikti invasion, Thunderclap battled the aliens in his hometown before relocating
to Paragon
City. Soon after his arrival, Thunderclap entered one of the city's many hazard
zones where he engaged members of the villain group Freakshow. Almost immediately, he joined forces with War Witch and Apex,
who were also fighting the cyber-punks. After vanquishing the Freakshow gang members, Apex volunteered the trio for a Freedom
Phalanx mission, investigating a reported break-in at a prominent local building. The heroes were ambushed by members of the
Fifth Column, a Nazi villain group first formed during World War II. Although they performed admirably against the villains,
who had planted bombs throughout the building, Thunderclap and his allies would have been overwhelmed if not for the intervention
of the Statesman. After uncovering the Fifth Column cell, it's believed that Thunderclap, War Witch, and Apex formed and official
team.
