History

The members of the Storm Korps were one of Nazi Germany's most formidable weapons during World War II. Under the leadership of the Nazi known as Eisensturm, the Storm Korps launched a series of raids on the British Isles. In their most daring attack, the Storm Korps invaded Buckingham Palace and kidnapped the King of England. "Alistair Sutton, leader of the Dawn Patrol, chased the kidnappers down and fought Eisensturm to a standstill in the Scottish Highlands. He bought enough time for the rest of the Dawn Patrol to arrive and help rescue the captured monarch from the hands of fascist villainy. It was shortly after this that American victories in Africa drew off much of the Storm Korps' resources and many credit Sutton's victory over Eisensturm as the turning point of the war for Great Britain and the Dawn Patrol."

It's unclear whether Eisensturm escaped Sutton and the Dawn Patrol. If he remained at large, Eisensturm was likely involved in the battles that raged on D-Day, perhaps even leading the counteroffensive that threatened to push allied forces back into the English Channel. Later, Eisensturm may have retreated back to the Storm Korps lair in the Black Forest. Allied heroes stormed the Black Forest stronghold and killed or captured the remaining Storm Korps soldiers. If Eisensturm survived and was captured, he may have been among the five Storm Korps villains convicted of war crimes during trials at Nuremberg. However, if he escaped, there's every possiblity that he will resurface to plague Paragon City and the world.

"Eisensturm" is German for "Iron Storm," which suggests that Eisensturm may have been armored villain, relying on technology for his powers.

Villains rarely stay dead or missing for very long, especially Nazi villains. Eisensturm may eventually be relocated to the Dead or Inactive section of this site; but for the time being, we fear he may still be alive and plotting his return...
