Power Sets/Powers: (Velasquez) Unknown, but the nickname "the Fist"
suggests powers/abilities for hand-to-hand combat. As described elsewhere, the mutated version of Velasquez seemed to have
very little in common with "the Fist," and his powers likely revolved around super-strength.

History
Quint "The Fist" Velasquez was a member of the Dawn Patrol around the time
of the Rikti invasion. After the war, he agreed to help his friend Shannon Price (formerly the hero known as Starlight) in her investigation of a mysterious group known only as the Lost. The search led
Quint and Price into the sewers and other dangerous areas beneath Paragon City. Unfortunately, they both
vanished. The Dawn Patrol searched the sewers, but found no sign of the heroes.
Three months later, Price finally reappeared, badly injured and quite insane.
She told stories of the Lost, a cult-like group that seemed to mutate its members over time. A bizarre, unidentified mutagen
found in Price's own blood seemed to support her tales.
Much more recently, the Dawn Patrol's headquarters was attacked by several
humanoid creatures believed to be members of the Lost. The group was being led by a "hulking beast" who was killed during
the battle. "[H]is autopsy revealed some shocking information. Although his DNA, dental patterns, and fingerprints had all
been mangled by the mutagen, together they provided enough information to identify the beast as having once been Quint Velasquez."
