The Morris's new/old home... I've looked at it a couple times, but it's a little depressing. I wish I had the time (and confidence) to return to Mike's shop, but under the circumstances I don't feel I can afford to leave it there anymore. I had already mentioned to Mike that I might be bringing the Morris home anyway because I couldn't afford to continue to pay a storage fee when no work was being performed. I took a pic of the work Mike had started on the rear fender arches. Both sides are cut the same way. I needed a bit more room for the larger tires.

 

With the money I'm saving I've started looking at new tools. I gained alot of experience and skills from Mike and want to get my own tools to continue working on the Morris. First thing is a tube bender. Speedway Motors has a neat little bender that's affordable. I've looked at others, some home built with plans, some pre-fab, but all are more expensive and/or require tools I don't have to construct it.

 

Not a good start to year six.... I don't know all the details, nor want to speculate on the circumstances, but I had to haul off the Morris and anything else I had in Mike's shop. Mike was arrested and the guys with project vehicles in the shop felt we should get our stuff out ASAP. The Morris is back home now.
