My first mod was a Corbin Gunfighter saddle. The original seat was
terrible. After about 20 minutes my nuts would be numb! After 45 minutes it was almost too uncomfortable to bear. My ass would
hurt and my nuts felt like they were about to fall off. I was about to sell the bike, but I decided to take a chance with
a $250 seat. The Corbin seat changed all that. I can ride for a good hour before the seat becomes slightly uncomfortable.
The Corbin comforms to my nonexistant ass and allows more range of postions, from a full tuck to an upright seated position.
As of 7-15-04, I have added the following modifications:
- Flush mount front turn signal and running lamps,
- Clear rear brake lens with LED bulbs,
- Modified rear splash gaurd fender for a cleaner look.
As of 8-4-04, I have added some "go-faster" goodies.
- K&N Air filter, this made a huge difference!
- Vance and Hines SS2R exhuast system (headers and can) Sounds lovely
and the power increase was noticeable! A little louder, lower, and slighty obnoxious.
- EBC front brake pads
- Dunlop D208 front tire (the old Bridgestone was about to fall off!)
The exhaust and K&N made this a new bike! There is a dead spot
between 3000-6000 rpm, but from 6500-11000+ rpm the bike is unbelieveable. I can actually feel my ass being pressed into the
seat with some force. I love it. I've made one run of 150+mph.
The bike gets compliments all the time. Most people think the color
scheme is custom.
As of 7-25-05 the bike is getting a Stage 3 K&N
Dyno Jet kit.
9-16-05 I picked the bike up from the shop with the new Jet kit and carb work completed. The carbs have been
polished, competition springs were added, and the jets were matched. I took the bike out for a test run and HOLY SHIT!!! I
didn't have a chance to look down cuz I was accelerating so freakin' fast... redline, shift, OMG redline again!!! shift....
whoo! The power band so amazingly smooth. The pull from low RPMs all the way to redline is completely linear. 13,000 RPM and
the bike wants to keep spinning. I am very pleased!

I sold the bike in June of 2006. I haven't heard from the new owner
since he took possession, so I guess he's either happy or dead.
Good luck, my yellow and purple friend!!!
