The summer season usually starts the first week of June and ends mid September. The
height of summer activity being July through the end of August. The weather can be incredible during
these times. Four mountain lakes are within 30 minutes. Summer skiing is in full-swing on the Palmer
Snow Field at Timberline Lodge. The town of Government Camp is busy with snowboard and ski camps. Ski Bowl
Action/Adventure Park runs at full operation, including the Alpine Slide, horseback riding, bungee jumping, go-carts,
mountain biking, minature golf & more.
