New to Grace?
Welcome, we are honored that you are visiting our web site. We are always
striving to help others become "connected" to God and learn more about the good news of God's Word. This web
site allows us to share with people we may never have been able to contact before.
On the first Sunday of every month we have a "Welcome to Grace" class during the Sunday School/Bible Study
time (9:45 - 10:40) in the first classroom on the left in the educational building behind the sanctuary. This time will
allow you to meet the pastor and learn more about the ministry of Grace.
On the following dates we also invite anyone new to Grace to a free lunch after the 10:50 service.
Its a great time to meet the staff families and get better acquainted with Grace. Resevations are required. Call
727-863-2747 and ask to attend the "Welcome to Grace" Lunch.
Offered on these dates: July 7, 2013; September 1, 2013 and November 3, 2013.
Please use this site to access the information you need about the church and as a resource for
broadening your faith. We look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you might have.
Our desire is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, extend a clear invitation to everyone
to trust Him as their personal Lord and Savior and then grow in their knowlege, love and commitment to Him. Through
our ministries we hope to help others become involved in this great privilege of helping people know and love the Savior.
"Am I Going to Heaven"?
Can anyone really know the answer to that question? Absolutely! 1John 5:13
states " I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal
life!" So, how can I know? You have probably heard that God loves us, but did you know He wants us to
have a relationship with Him now and wants us to live forever with Him in Heaven after we die? (John 3:16-17, John
6:35-40).
However, there is a problem that prevents us from having a relationship with God and
from going to heaven. God is perfectly holy and without sin, but we are not (Romans 3:23). We are all sinners ,
that is, we have disobeyed God in some form or fashion at one time or another (if we are honest probably many times).
The Bible says the penalty for our sin is death (separation from God). Separation
in this life and in the life to come in a place of punishment called Hell (Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:14).
Many people think that if they do enough good things they can somehow merit or earn heaven.
But, we can not buy or earn God's forgiveness. We can not erase our sins by doing good deeds. We are thus in a
dilemma and unable to save ourselves from the penalty of our sins (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:20).
Since God loves us he has provided a substitute who paid the penalty for our sins.
God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, the sinless God-man took on flesh, was born into this world, died on the cross, was buried
and then did proved his deity by resurrecting from the dead! After His resurrection He was seen, heard and touched
by numerous people, in fact, by over 500 people on one occassion (Titus 3:4-5: 1 Corinthians 15:3-7).
His divine birth, amazing and numerous miracles, fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy
and resurrection from the dead prove that Jesus was the Son of God and that He had paid for our sin. He now offers forgivness
of sins and salvation to all who put their trust in Him and what He did on the cross as a payment for their sins (John
1:12; 1 John 5:10-12).
Would you like to be forgiven? Would you like to have a relationship with God and
know you have a home in heaven? If so, bow your head right now and ask the living Christ to forgive you, trusting
in what He did for you on the cross not in what you can do.
E-mail us if you made this decision and we will rejoice with you and send you some information
that will help you grow in your new relationship with Christ.
